A focus on material sensitivity through thoughtful and skillful additive approaches. Woodworking and metalworking are introduced as methods to examine structural and spatial possibilities. Through examining and questioning the interplay of form, material, technique, and content, students will develop their knowledge of traditional fabrication processes, which inform contemporary sculpture.
