This is the first in the sequence of practice courses introducing students to the generalist approach to micro social work. This course focuses on developing a solid foundation for practice with individuals, including learning basic communication and helping skills, values, principles, and the connection of theory to practice. Prerequisite: 厂颁奥碍听40903 or 厂颁奥碍听50903 and 厂颁奥碍听41503 or 厂颁奥碍听53503. Pre- or Corequisite: 厂颁奥碍听41003 or 厂颁奥碍听51003. (Typically offered: Fall and Spring)
