The course focuses on the fundamental concepts, techniques, and tools for managing production and improving business processes across the supply chain, in both manufacturing and service contexts. Philosophies, principles, approaches, and techniques students will learn and experience in this course include Lean, Total Quality Management, Theory of Constraints, Practical Scientific Thinking, and Toyota Kata. Prerequisite: 厂颁惭罢听21003 with a grade of C or better. (Typically offered: Fall and Spring)
