Under the guidance of a clinical faculty instructor and experienced preceptor, the student will participate in 180 hours of an intensive clinical practicum experience in their chosen specialty area. Students will also explore local experiences that contribute and align with DNP Essential Outcomes for quality improvement and systems thinking, and proactively seek out leaders in various disciplines to ensure diverse learning opportunities. Students will synthesize and apply advanced nursing knowledge and skills to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care to individuals, families, and populations. The practicum emphasizes development of clinical expertise, leadership abilities, and systems thinking to improve health outcomes and advance nursing practice. Prerequisite: 狈鲍搁厂听58333 and 狈鲍搁厂听58433 or admission to MSN-DNP program. (Typically offered: Spring)
