Provides didactic content to prepare family nurse practitioner students to deliver comprehensive primary care to adult and geriatric patients with chronic complex illnesses affecting one or more body systems. Integrating evidence-based practices tailored to patients' age, gender, sexuality, and social determinants of health, students will develop advanced skills in assessment, diagnosis, and management of chronic health problems. The curriculum emphasizes appropriate diagnostic procedures, laboratory tests, and follow-up care, while promoting health, patient education, and disease prevention across diverse adult populations.
