This course presents basic concepts and theories of mental health and illness. Students examine nursing care of clients with various mental health and psychosocial disorders. Therapeutic modalities and their use in a variety of settings are explored. Prerequisite: 狈鲍搁厂听43233 and 狈鲍搁厂听31151 and admission to the Online Undergraduate BSN Professional Program or permission by the instructor or department head. (Typically offered: Fall, Spring and Summer)
