The study of instruments utilized in the general music classroom, including but not limited to the Orff Instrumentarium, pitched and unpitched hand-held percussion, frame and various ethnic drums, guitar, and recorder. Elementary and secondary general music classroom preparation with an emphasis on orchestration, composition, and improvisation with instruments commonly utilized in required music classes in public schools. Open to music education majors or with instructor's consent. Pre- or Corequisite: 惭鲍贰顿听38303. Prerequisite: 惭鲍贰顿听20102. (Typically offered: Fall)
