This course is intended to provide students an overview of various battery systems and help students establish the concepts of primary and secondary batteries. The course materials will focus on lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), covering their electrochemical mechanisms, components, materials synthesis, materials characterization, and performance evaluations. Prerequisite: 颁贬贰惭听14103 and 惭贰贰骋听23003. (Typically offered: Fall)
