Government Externships are experiences available to students having completed 30 hours toward the JD degree. Students work part-time -- 12 hours/week over 14 weeks (variable in summer) -- alongside government attorneys, exposing students to legal issues and practice in government agencies. By participating in/observing various tasks, students develop legal and professional skills appropriate to government work. There is a Field and an Academic Component to this course. (Typically offered: Fall and Spring)聽May be repeated for up to 12 hours of degree credit.
