ISYS 41703. Blockchain Fundamentals. 3 Hours.

This course provides the fundamental concepts underpinning blockchain technologies. This course focuses on blockchain applications for business. Students will learn about the overall blockchain landscape, including the investments, the size of markets, major players and the global reach, as well as the potential business value of blockchain applications and the challenges that must be overcome to achieve that value. Students will learn enough about the underlying technologies to be well-prepared to develop blockchain applications in future courses. Prerequisite: Walton College Majors: ±õ³§³Û³§Ìý21003 and ´¡°ä°ä°ÕÌý20103 each with a grade of C or better; Non-Business Majors: ´¡°ä°ä°ÕÌý20103 and (°ä³§°ä·¡Ìý20004 or ¶Ù´¡³§°äÌý12004) each with a grade of C or better.
