This course focuses on the manufacturing processes that impart geometry and properties to engineering materials including casting, metalworking, machining, joining, heat treatment, and polymer processes. Process selection and analysis, design-for-manufacturing principles, cost estimation, and selection of process parameters are covered. Lab component covers communication of manufacturing specifications via engineering drawings. Prerequisite: 惭贰贰骋听23003. Corequisite: Lab component. (Typically offered: Spring)
