This course will help students interested in early childhood to value the role parents play in schools and the role schools play in a community. Various models of parent involvement will be explored. Students will plan a school-community collaborative which values diverse cultures. Prerequisite: (±á¶Ù¹ó³§Ìý24103 or ±á¶Ù¹ó³§Ìý241±á3 or ±á¶Ù¹ó³§Ìý26003 or ±á¶Ù¹ó³§Ìý260±á3) and (HDFS or BRKD majors or CDSV minor or IDST majors with HDFS or CDSV track). (Typically offered: Spring)
