This course is an introduction to basic concepts, tools, and languages for computer programming in Python, a powerful general-purpose programming language used by everyone from data scientists, system designers, scientists, NASA, and many other high-performance, high-impact situations. It is especially useful as an introductory programming language due to its simple syntax and as an introduction to higher-level concepts that may be useful for other programming languages in the future.
