This course introduces privacy enhancing technologies and hot privacy topics in modern computing systems. Students will be exposed to many interesting privacy problems, study privacy enhancing technologies, and apply their knowledge to explore an open research problem in a research-oriented project. After completing this course, students will gain broad knowledge of the state-of-the-art privacy enhancing technologies and open research problems. They will also develop skills and enhance potentials to do research on privacy and security. Prerequisite: Must be a graduate student in Computer Science Computer Engineering (CSCE).
