An introduction to argumentation theory and practice, with concern for analyzing and producing logical, effective, and ethical public discourse. Examines contemporary models for analyzing argument, covers the common types of arguments and ways to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses, and introduces ways to test arguments for validity and fallacies.
