CHEM 47203. Experimental Methods in Organic Chemistry. 3 Hours.

Introduction to the application of synthetic and spectroscopic methods in organic chemistry, including mass spectrometry, infrared spectroscopy, and nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometry. Other laboratory techniques applicable to chemical research will be included. Lecture 3 hours and laboratory 3 hours per week. Lecture only meets the first half of the term. Laboratory meets the entire term. Corequisite: Lab component. Prerequisite: °ä±á·¡²ÑÌý36203 and °ä±á·¡²ÑÌý36201, (or °ä±á·¡²ÑÌý362±á3 or CHEM 361H1), (or °ä±á·¡²ÑÌý37203 and °ä±á·¡²ÑÌý37202).
